Tanya McCaffery is a CPA and has over 17 years of accounting and finance experience.
She graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Accounting.
Tanya is the President of The CFO Group and along with being involved with firm marketing, client development and day to day operations of the firm, also works closely with clients in the areas of outsourced CFO services, financial statement audits, financial analysis and budgeting.
Prior to The CFO Group, Tanya most recently worked for Grant Thornton LLP where her client base included mortgage funds, construction companies/development firms, manufacturing firms, and professional service firms. Her responsibilities included auditing annual financial statements, auditing profit sharing and employee benefit plans and making recommendations to management on improvements to cost procedures and internal control.
In her capacity as the outsourced CFO for various companies, Tanya also has obtained extensive experience in turnaround management including streamlining accounting processes and financial reporting, cost review and control and cash flow forecasting for small to mid-sized companies. Tanya possesses overall business knowledge in the areas of fraud detection and internal control, evaluation of real estate transactions and project cost accounting.
Prior to working in public accounting, Tanya worked in the gaming and manufacturing sectors where she held various positions and was responsible for budgeting, payroll analysis, construction in progress reconciliations and financial systems analysis, government contract negotiation, job-costing and inventory control.
Tanya is a member of Western Industrial Nevada, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Reno Area Triathletes.

Daniel T. Allen, is a CPA and has over 17 years of accounting and finance experience.
He graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno and received his Bachelor of Science
with an emphasis in Accounting.
Dan is the Vice President of The CFO Group and along with handling day to day operations of the firm, heads up the firm’s assurance and tax divisions. Dan is also responsible for working as the outsourced CFO for several client companies and performing tax planning for businesses and individuals and making recommendations to companies to improve cash flows and reduce costs.
Dan has extensive experience in evaluating lease/buy alternatives, establishing banking relationships and general corporate finance decisions. This experience was derived in his capacity as a business partner and advisor to numerous companies in varying industries and size. He has also focused on retirement planning for companies ranging from $1 million to $1 billion in revenues. This service has helped companies evaluate existing plans and to develop new plans, which better meet their retirement and recruitment needs. Dan has overall business knowledge in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, SEC filings and reporting, IPO’s and complex corporate structures.
Prior to The CFO Group, Dan spent ten years in public accounting. He was previously with Deloitte & Touche LLP where he focused on tax planning, consulting and compliance. After leaving Deloitte & Touche, Dan joined Grant Thornton LLP. With Grant Thornton, he held numerous positions from Field Auditor to Senior Assurance Manager. While at Grant Thornton, Dan specialized in the construction, manufacturing, distribution, real estate and gaming industries. His responsibilities included auditing financial statements and reporting on the accuracy of those financial statements. Dan has also been instrumental in assisting companies in developing and implementing internal controls over cash and investments, inventory receiving and shipping procedures, inventory valuation, and the processing of various transactions. Additionally, he has developed written instructions for performing physical inventory counts and developed written procedures manuals for accounting departments.
Dan is actively involved in the community as past president of the College of Business Administration Alumni Association. He is past chairman of the Nevada Proud Salutes Committee. He is a member of the Economic Development Association of Western Nevada, the Prospector’s Club, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants.

Alex Jitloff brings 30 years of accounting, finance and operations experience to us. He is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science with emphasis in accounting.
Alex is a senior consultant with The CFO Group and is responsible for the financial operations of several client companies including acting as outsourced CFO, making recommendations to reduce costs and improve profitability, implementation of accounting systems, and advising on improvements to internal control. Alex has been instrumental in preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flow analyses for client companies and has worked closely with management of a client company to respond to a multi-million dollar RFP from the United States Army.
Prior to The CFO Group, Alex held senior financial positions with public and private companies primarily in the high tech, manufacturing sector. Most recently he was the Director of Finance, CFO at Hamilton Company with group revenues of $100M. The business develops, manufactures and sells laboratory automation equipment for the biotech, clinical and pharmaceutical markets, precision fluid measurement instruments and medical ventilators. He was responsible for the group’s global accounting and finance functions. Alex was also the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of a Silicon Valley, magnetic media start-up that grew to $48M in four years at which time it was taken public.
Alex has extensive experience in business planning and analysis, business plan development, budgeting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. He has developed and implemented cash management tools, negotiated credit facilities and managed treasury activities. Alex has significant international experience including an expatriate assignment in the U.K. He has assisted in foreign manufacturing site selection and has established legal entities in Europe. Additionally, he has managed H.R., I.S., Planning, Purchasing and Contracts organizations.
Alex previously served as a director on the board of Far West Skiing, a non-profit organization supporting junior alpine ski racing in California and Nevada. He served as Vice President of the organization for one year and President for four years.

Jeff Miller, MCP has over 15 years of financial management and technical experience. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1987, receiving his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Finance. Jeff is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, a Microsoft Business Solutions Certified Master in Great Plains Installation & Configuration, and holds the Microsoft Certified Professional designation for Database Administration and Network Design and Management.
Jeff is the Technology Department head and a senior consultant with The CFO Group. Jeff is responsible for working on clients’ financial statements, internal controls, accounting management, system configuration and information technology.
Prior to joining The CFO Group, Jeff has spent the past 15 years in various mid and upper-level financial management positions for national corporations. His experiences have allowed him to amass extensive experience with Great Plains, ADP, Microsoft Office, FRx Financial Reporter and Crystal Reports. Immediately prior to joining the CFO Group, Jeff was the Director of Finance at Ozburn-Hessey Logistics. Ozburn-Hessey operates warehouse/distribution facilities in 25 cities across thirteen states. He was responsible for the integration of acquisitions into the financial reporting structure, the implementation of a company-wide payroll solution and many automation initiatives.
Preceding his tenure at Ozburn-Hessey, Jeff was an Independent Financial Consultant, where his knowledge and experience benefited several companies by developing complete financial reporting systems, custom accounting applications, implementing computer networks, writing business plans and various modeling programs for his clients in California, Arizona and Nevada. Prior to his role as an Independent Consultant, Jeff spent three years at USF Logistics (formerly the Interamerican Group), a USFreightways Company, as Assistant Controller and Special Projects Manager, and 7 years at Penske Truck Leasing in various financial positions. He left Penske as the Area Accounting Manager for the Western Region.

Rick Thomas, MCP, brings over 15 years of diverse technical experience to The CFO Group.
Rick is a Senior Information Technology consultant with The CFO Group and is responsible for working closely with client companies in the areas of network implementation, system security and technology maintenance. His organization and tenacity in solving problems is innate to his character. Rick is highly passionate about technology and has the unique ability to take apart technical terms and make them easy to understand for just about anyone.
Prior to joining The CFO Group team, Rick held senior level positions for companies such as Knowledge Universe (best known for Leap Frog Toys), Palm Inc., Nevada’s Secretary of State and most recently, the Tahoe Forest Health System.
Rick continually strives to be at the cutting edge of technology. Attending a rigorous course at Capella University, his focus is on Information Assurances and Security Specialization. Capella University has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education by the National Security Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Doug Moir has over 10 years of financial management and operations experience and holds a Bachelors
and Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno. Prior to joining The CFO Group,
Doug was the Vice President of Finance and Operations with Sportif USA; an established manufacturer,
wholesaler and retailer of apparel. His financial and accounting responsibilities included routine
sales and inventory reporting, revenue auditing, cost auditing, divisional budgeting, bank reporting,
cash management, credit and accounts receivable review, and overseeing routine audits. He was also
responsible for all legal matters of the corporation including the registration and protection of
intellectual property. He has experience in both asset based lending and traditional debt finance.
Doug’s operational responsibilities at Sportif included call center and customer service management as well as all warehousing and fulfillment functions. In conjunction with the company’s annual audits, he managed the physical inventory process. He later defined and implemented a routine inventory cycle counting process in lieu of the full physical inventory to minimize business interruption. He is experienced in all warehousing functions and job specific productivity analysis. While at Sportif, he coordinated a dynamic team of approximately 30 associates.
Doug also has experience in corporate human resources, staffing, and retail store operations. He possesses a strong background in data integrations and software conversions for both financial systems as well as enterprise resource systems.
Prior to working with Sportif, Doug worked for Valley Bank of Nevada (now Bank of America) initially in a management program and ultimately as a Trust officer where he was responsible for individual wealth management, estate settlement proceedings, and personal trust accounts.

Kristine Britton is a CPA and has over 8 years of accounting and finance experience. She graduated from Deakin University of Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts majoring in Public Relations and Political Science.
Kristine is the Assurance Department head and a senior consultant with The CFO Group. Kristine is also responsible for firm-wide technical training and is instrumental in assuring the firm’s compliance with professional standards.
Kristine has been involved in numerous financial statement audits and reviews, employee benefit plan audits and tax planning and preparation. Kristine has extensive knowledge of construction contractors and subcontractors, homeowners associations, and non-profit organizations. Her clients include corporations, partnerships and individuals. Kristine also has considerable experience within the manufacturing and retail industries.
Kristine serves on the finance board for Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Tabitha Carlisle is a CPA and has over 7 years of accounting and finance experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colorado College. In 2003, she graduated from Arizona State University where she received her MBA and Master of Accountancy and Information Systems.
Tabitha is a senior consultant with The CFO Group and works directly with client companies on audited and reviewed financial statements as well as accounting system implementations. Tabitha also assists with corporate and individual tax planning and preparation, financial statements reconciliations and various consulting engagements.
Prior to The CFO Group, Tabitha spent 3 years in public accounting working for PricewaterhouseCoopers as an associate and senior associate of the assurance practice. She specialized in both internal and external audits and reviews of gaming manufacturers, indian gaming casinos, Nevada casinos, and the state system of higher education.
After leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers and most recently, Tabitha was an accounting supervisor with International Gaming Technology. There she specialized in receivables and revenue recognition, overseeing a team of accountants responsible for invoicing, Sarbanes - Oxley reporting, contract review, bad debt evaluation, 10Q/10K reporting, and airport slot operations accounting.
Tabitha is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and recently joined the Assistance League of Reno -Sparks. She is also a two time Ironman finisher and in the process of becoming a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance.

Monica Buccambuso is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Accounting.
Monica is a staff consultant with The CFO Group and a member of our assurance department. Monica is responsible for preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements for several small to mid-sized companies. Monica also works with clients in the areas of accounting support and financial reconciliations.
Before joining The CFO Group, Monica was employed by a large Qualified Settlement Trust as on-site accounting support. Monica was originally assigned operational duties, including claims processing, claims auditing and the development of more efficient processing procedures. Later in her tenure with the trust, her accounting responsibilities included the accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal control review, reconciliation of claim payment accounts, budgeting support and financial statement review.
During her career at UNR, Monica was an athlete on the Cross-Country and Track teams which were awarded two Western Athletic Conference titles. Aside from her scholastic and athletic achievements, Monica has been active in her community through a variety of volunteering efforts, including supporting fundraising activities for the Western Nevada Community College and tutoring of underprivileged youth.

Kerry Haupert brings over 7 years of operational and management experience to The CFO Group and graduated from St. Cloud Technical College with a degree in Sales and Management.
Kerry is our office manager and is responsible for the day to day administration and accounting of the firm, client documentation, resident agent compliance for client companies and final issuance and routing of client financial statements and tax returns. Kerry manages the firm’s e-filing utility and works closely with our technology department to ensure the firm stays abreast of updates and improvements that are available.
Prior to joining The CFO Group, Kerry was with a mid-west bank holding positions including teller, sales and service representative with selling annuities, branch manager with her series 6 License, and Regional Trainer with the responsibilities of training and overseeing branch compliance for 25 branches.
Kerry also assisted several small businesses with accounting and bookkeeping. She then consulted with larger companies in re-organizing their businesses and took a position with the largest appraisal firm in South Carolina as Office Manager where she handled the operations and accounting for the appraisal firm as well as their related businesses which included a residential construction company and a commercial and residential property management company.
Ms. Haupert is involved in the local community through Reno Christian Fellowship and serves on the committee of the local Young Life organization.

Chris Driscoll is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Economics.
Chris is an Information Technology consultant with The CFO Group and is instrumental in both our Application and Platform service lines within the Technology division. Chris works closely with clients in the areas of network implementation, hardware setup and technology maintenance as well as being versed in Microsoft Dynamics Products where he is involved in system implementation, procedural reviews and report writing.
While at UNR, Chris served as Student Body Vice President and was president of the student alumni association, the student pep club, and an honor society. He was named a 2008 UNR College of Business Administration Outstanding Senior for his involvement in numerous student clubs and his contributions to university committees pertaining to student safety and alcohol awareness.
