Tanya McCaffery is a CPA and has over 17 years of accounting and finance experience.
She graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Accounting.
Tanya is the President of The CFO Group and along with being involved with firm marketing, client development and day to day operations of the firm, also works closely with clients in the areas of outsourced CFO services, financial statement audits, financial analysis and budgeting.
Prior to The CFO Group, Tanya most recently worked for Grant Thornton LLP where her client base included mortgage funds, construction companies/development firms, manufacturing firms, and professional service firms. Her responsibilities included auditing annual financial statements, auditing profit sharing and employee benefit plans and making recommendations to management on improvements to cost procedures and internal control.
In her capacity as the outsourced CFO for various companies, Tanya also has obtained extensive experience in turnaround management including streamlining accounting processes and financial reporting, cost review and control and cash flow forecasting for small to mid-sized companies. Tanya possesses overall business knowledge in the areas of fraud detection and internal control, evaluation of real estate transactions and project cost accounting.
Prior to working in public accounting, Tanya worked in the gaming and manufacturing sectors where she held various positions and was responsible for budgeting, payroll analysis, construction in progress reconciliations and financial systems analysis, government contract negotiation, job-costing and inventory control.
Tanya is a member of Western Industrial Nevada, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Reno Area Triathletes.

Daniel T. Allen, is a CPA and has over 19 years of accounting and finance experience. He graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno and received his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Accounting.
Dan is a Manager with The CFO Group and works extensively in the Firm's assurance and tax departments. Dan is also responsible for working as the outsourced CFO for several client companies and performing tax planning for businesses and individuals and making recommendations to companies to improve cash flows and reduce costs.
Dan has extensive experience in evaluating lease/buy alternatives, establishing banking relationships and general corporate finance decisions. This experience was derived in his capacity as a business partner and advisor to numerous companies in varying industries and sizes. He has also focused on retirement planning for companies of all sizes. This service has helped companies evaluate existing plans and to develop new plans, which better meet their retirement and recruitment needs. Dan has overall business knowledge in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and complex corporate structures.
Prior to The CFO Group, Dan spent ten years in public accounting. He was previously with Deloitte & Touche LLP where he focused on tax planning, consulting and compliance. After leaving Deloitte & Touche, Dan joined Grant Thornton LLP. With Grant Thornton, he held numerous positions from Field Auditor to Senior Assurance Manager. While at Grant Thornton, Dan specialized in the construction, manufacturing, distribution, real estate and gaming industries. His responsibilities included auditing financial statements and reporting on the accuracy of those financial statements. Dan has also been instrumental in assisting companies in developing and implementing internal controls over cash, investments, inventory, and other sensitive assets. Dan is well versed in supply chain management from inventory control, to shipping and receiving, to the ultimate distribution through small parcel, less than truckload, truckload and international transportation. Additionally, he has developed written procedures manuals for accounting departments.
Dan is actively involved in the community through his involvement with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce and College of Business Administration Alumni Association. He is professionally involved with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Governmental Audit Quality Center, Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and Private Companies Practice Section.

Alex Jitloff brings over 30 years of accounting, finance and operations experience to us. He is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science with emphasis in accounting.
Alex is a senior consultant with The CFO Group and is responsible for the financial operations of several client companies including acting as outsourced CFO, making recommendations to reduce costs and improve profitability, implementation of accounting systems, and advising on improvements to internal control. Alex has been instrumental in preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flow analyses for client companies.
Prior to The CFO Group, Alex held senior financial positions with public and private companies primarily in the high tech, manufacturing sector. Most recently he was the Director of Finance, CFO at Hamilton Company with group revenues of $100M. The business develops, manufactures and sells laboratory automation equipment for the biotech, clinical and pharmaceutical markets, precision fluid measurement instruments and medical ventilators. He was responsible for the group's global accounting and finance functions. Alex was also the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of a Silicon Valley, magnetic media start-up that grew to $48M in four years at which time it was taken public.
Alex has extensive experience in business planning and analysis, business plan development, budgeting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. He has developed and implemented cash management tools, negotiated credit facilities and managed treasury activities. Alex has significant international experience including an expatriate assignment in the U.K. He has assisted in foreign manufacturing site selection and has established legal entities in Europe. Additionally, he has managed H.R., I.T., Planning, Purchasing and Contracts organizations.
Alex previously served as a director on the board of Far West Skiing, a non-profit organization supporting junior alpine ski racing in California and Nevada. He served as Vice President of the organization for one year and President for four years.

Kristine Britton is a CPA and has over 8 years of accounting and finance experience. She graduated from Deakin University of Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts majoring in Public Relations and Political Science.
Kristine is the Assurance Department head and a senior consultant with The CFO Group. Kristine is also responsible for firm-wide technical training and is instrumental in assuring the firm's compliance with professional standards.
Kristine has been involved in numerous financial statement audits and reviews, employee benefit plan audits and tax planning and preparation. Kristine has extensive knowledge of construction contractors and subcontractors, homeowners associations, and non-profit organizations. Her clients include corporations, partnerships and individuals. Kristine also has considerable experience within the manufacturing and retail industries.
Kristine serves on the finance board for Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Monica Guerrero is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Accounting.
Monica is a Senior Accountant with The CFO Group and a member of our assurance department. Monica is involved in several audit engagements, tax preparation engagements and preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements for several small to mid-sized companies. Monica also works with clients in the areas of accounting support and financial reconciliations.
Before joining The CFO Group, Monica was employed by a large Qualified Settlement Trust as on-site accounting support. Monica was originally assigned operational duties, including claims processing, claims auditing and the development of more efficient processing procedures. Later in her tenure with the trust, her accounting responsibilities included the accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal control review, reconciliation of claim payment accounts, budgeting support, and financial statement review.
During her career at UNR, Monica was an athlete on the Cross-Country and Track teams which were awarded two Western Athletic Conference titles. Aside from her scholastic and athletic achievements, Monica has been active in her community through a variety of volunteering efforts, including supporting fundraising activities for the Western Nevada Community College and tutoring of underprivileged youth.

Jordan Berry is the Director of Technology with The CFO Group and is responsible for working closely with our clients to ensure that their various technology needs are met and maintained. Jordan also plays an integral part in maintaining our current IT infrastructure, and implementing new technologies based on best business practices.
Jordan Berry has over 7 years of information technology experience and holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Prior to joining The CFO Group, Jordan worked at the University of Nevada, Reno as a systems administrator for the college of business. His primary duties involved solving technical issues for faculty computer equipment and implementing new technologies in various computer laboratories.
Preceding his role as systems administrator at UNR, Jordan worked in the firmware engineering department at International Game Technology, where he acquired hands on experience with large-scale networks and ERP systems.

Stephanie Rue is a graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Accounting.
Stephanie is a Senior Accountant with The CFO Group and a member of our assurance and tax department. Stephanie is responsible for preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements for several small to mid-sized companies. She has been involved in numerous financial statement audits for employee benefit plans, homeowners associations, and Indian Tribes. Stephanie also works with clients in the areas of accounting support and financial reconciliations.
While at UNR, Stephanie held various leadership positions for the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. She also participated in several volunteer opportunities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Very Special Arts, and United Blood Services. Stephanie is currently a member of the Reno Tahoe Young Professionals Network and the Western Industrial Nevada organization.

Joe Rosenfeld holds a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Joe previously received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA.
Joe is a Staff Accountant with The CFO Group and a member of our assurance and tax department. Joe is responsible for preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements for several small to mid-sized companies. Joe also works with clients in the areas of accounting support and financial reconciliations.
Prior to The CFO Group, Joe gained knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, and advertising as Regional New Business Development Manager for The Street.com in San Francisco, CA. More recently, Joe gained valuable experience in management and logistics while directing the distribution center for a sports company in Truckee, CA.

Kim Legarza is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Accounting. She has more than 7 years of public accounting experience.
Kim is a Senior Accountant with The CFO Group and a member of the tax department. She is responsible for the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, not-for-profit, individual and trust returns. She is also involved with staff training.
Before joining the CFO Group, Kim worked for Grant Thornton, LLP. Kim's experience in public accounting includes both auditing and tax experience in the gaming, manufacturing, advertising and construction industries. She was responsible for the preparation, review and tax research of complex individual and business returns.
Kim is a member of the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants and the UNR Alumni Association. She is active in the community and has volunteered and participated in several local fund raisers including Race for the Cure, Relay for Life and Roy Gomm Elementary Parent Faculty Association.

Glenn Hibl, is a CPA and has over 15 years of accounting and finance experience. He graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno and received his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Accounting.
Glenn is an Audit Manager and Senior Consultant of The CFO Group. Glenn is an accounting professional with expertise in auditing, financial statement review, internal controls documentation and improvement.
Prior to The CFO Group, Glenn spent five years in the private sector and ten years in public accounting. While in the private sector Glenn held senior financial positions in the petroleum and construction industries. Most recently he directed the accounting operations of three petroleum distributors with consolidated revenues of $70m. In the private sector he managed the cash flows, financial and tax reporting, banking relations, credit and collections, data processing, employee benefits and administration. Glenn's public accounting experience was Assurance Manager with Grant Thornton. While at Grant Thornton, Glenn specialized in the manufacturing, distribution, real estate and gaming industries. Glenn also specialized in the SEC reporting requirements of public companies.

Stephanie Sampson has over 10 years of finance and accounting experience. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science with emphasis in Finance.
Stephanie is an Executive Assistant/ Staff Accountant with The CFO Group and is responsible for assisting in the preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements for small to mid-sized companies. Stephanie also works with clients in the areas of accounting support and financial reconciliations.
Before joining The CFO Group, Stephanie was employed with Amazon.com as a Business Analyst. Her primary responsibilities included implementing streamlined data-management procedures, identifying areas and processes in need of improvement and automating internal reports used by management for decision making purposes. She also participated in month-end financial close reconciliation and reporting.
Stephanie is an active participant in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), a program which offers free tax help for low- to moderate-income taxpayers who cannot prepare their own tax returns.

While at Nevada, Patrick held various leadership positions within his fraternity. He was also an ASUN senator and served on the Budget and Finance and Campus Community committees.
